I would like to thank this man for giving me the chance to show the world my potentials in this field - Sir Victor Bersales Tusing. Even though I wasn’t that tall and still needed a couple of pounds to be camera-ready, he still made me a model of his collection. Because of that, I found one of the best photos is my life, so far:

My Life in MSU-IIT

Let me start by saying that my life here in ILIGAN has been a new chapter in my life. Obviously, college life will and would always be the beginning of a new chapter for every students since it will be their dawn of the untold stories about their lives. For me however, this is the major turning point of my life for I now stand alone consdiering the fact that I live far away from my family. Being a 16 year old teenager from ozamiz city, I could confidently say that my life here in iit has been full of firsts.

The friends that i have met along the way:

Dormitory friends (top); Co-pageant contestant friends (center); Churchmate/friends (bottom).

As I already mentioned, living here in Iligan is my very first experience to live alone and be far away from my family. At first, I thought I was gonna be alone and lonely all throughout the school year. However things changed when I met some friends along my journey. Being somewhat antisocial during high school, having ~~millions~~ a lot of new friends from different media is indeed new to me, I never knew that as I would mature, my social status would also increase -it was overwhelming.

The three pictures shown above are just some of the friends that I made. Because of these friends of mine, my difficulty in adjusting as an independent teenager and in my studies became a lot easier.

From having a lot of friends for the first time, the most unexpected thing happened to me - I fell in love. I expected a lot from my college life but never did I expected myself to find a girlfriend on the first 2 months of the semester. It felt so good to go to school everyday and see the person you ~~love~~ infatuate then get the sweetest feeling in the world - to have those butterflies in your stomach. Unfortunately, it had to end so soon though. After only a month of being a couple, me and Gwyn broke up cause she said that I don’t have enough time for her. I asked her for a second chance but she said that it would only be pointless. Sad but I have to accept that some things just don’t last forever. I guess I could say that it was my first love (here in iit) an my first heartache as well. </3 :’(

Last but definitely not the least of my firsts here in IIT was joining a pageant. I was asked to join the Mr. ad Ms. Biology 2012 and represent the department of General Biology. At first I was into it cause I thought it would be fun but as time passed by and the event wet closer and closer, it dawned on me that I wasn’t really ready for this type of competitions. But since I already did photo shoot and was already on the running, I had no choice but to compete. So during the night of the competition, I said to myself This is finally it! the moment I have been trying to avoid this past few weeks. I have to do my best and give my all for the people who trusted me. I felt the adrenaline pump through my veins as I was about to walk for the 1st exposure. When I came-out and saw the crowd of people cheering, I was dumbstruck. Thankfully, I did satisfactory on the exposures and never stuttered during my introduction and my very first question and answer portion. I did fine, just fine. I couldn’t also believe that I would be the 1st runner-up in the competition and bagged the “best in formal attire” award.

That was really a frightening yet fun experience.

Undeniably, life here in IIT is indeed hard. A lot of adjustments should be made physically, mentally and socially.Plus, my life here has been uncomfortable since it was full of first times so I really had to step out of my comfort zone. However, though it was hard, I still found it interesting and really enjoyable considering that these hardships made the journey quite enticing. All i could say is that my life here, so far, has been a roller coaster ride not because of the ups and downs but because of the fact that although it is frightening and heart pounding, it still is enjoyable and exciting !

At yesterday’s photo shoot. I really had a blast on this one. I loved he theme, the concept of the three photographers and enjoyed my 15 minute of fame. I guess my vanity was really put into good use during this time for the photos were really mind-blowing - for me that is.

I cant believe that I am finally an official model now though I had been a model since February , I never really had the chance to have a professional shot. I guess now I could say that I am now on my DEBUT as a model. I’m finally on the right track !

After a ~~millennium~~ couple of days, I finally decided to just use my old tumblr account to do my school blog. It’s been RE-MODIFIED to a more conservative blog and some explicitly provocative pictures has been deleted. From now on, I’m gonna have to restrain myself from using foul words or just might as well censor them.
